Q. Opportunities for women in your sector today.

I belong to the education sector. Whether it be ed-tech, formal education, I’ve been a part of it all. From my personal experience, I would say that there is so much opportunity for women in this sector. Women are biologically programmed to be more empathetic, nurturing, have an eye for detail and have very strong instincts. These are all pre-programmed in a woman which makes us more than right for the job. The right programming, research and drive can really help a woman succeed by leaps and bounds in this sector.

Q. Your mantra for being strong and inspiring women in business.

I’ve two mantras that I live by:
Always be open to learning anything and everything. No learning goes waste, it will help you in some way or the other and give you a much wider perspective of the world around you.
Ask the right questions. We are always told to ask questions but no one teaches us how to frame them correctly. Only the right questions can lead you to the right answers!
These mantras along with the drive and passion can help you succeed in any field or sector.

Q. If you would like to share any contribution of yours which inspired fellow women in business.

My mother has certainly inspired me to be the woman I am today. She never let me know the fear of failure. I’m not sure if I have inspired women or not but I certainly am inspired by her and everything that she has achieved. She has always motivated me to create my path and supported me on it. She is as fearless as one can be and that’s all I’ve seen and witnessed growing up.
